From year to years children whose born with autism are increase. Some families deny their children condition, they can not accept it. This is an understanding situation.
But as a parents, their support are very needed by autism children.
Have autism child does not mean that child can not grow with their maximum potential. In fact, some autism children can growth to be a great person. Even it is taking time but remember that autism children can achieve a good life.
What is Autism?
Autism is a developmental disorder affecting children from birth or the early months of life. For many years autism was rare occurring in just five to ten children per 10,000 live births.
Most autistic children are perfectly normal in appearance, but spend their time engaged in puzzling and disturbing behaviors which are markedly different from those of typical children. Less severe cases may be diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) or with Asperger’s Syndrome (usually children have normal speech, but they have many “autistic” social and behavioral problems).
However, EARLY diagnosis and treatments of autism are important for children to achieve their full potential.
Here are some good and fun activities suggestions for autistic children:
1.Make a splashing game or a kick game. Get some simple pool toys or beach toys like beachball, floating rings, etc. Remember to keep a good eye on the child while in a pool.
2.You could take the child to a children’s museum if there’s one nearby.
3. Gymnastic is a common game that autistic children do well at since there is less
reliance on language(children with autism often have little communication skills) but a lot
of motor movement and imitation.
4. Listen to the music can calm the child down, you can introduce different instruments to him, with some music playing gently in the background.
